I always keep my promises. Like the one I gave to my best friend that I’d never date his little sister, Ellie. While I got my electrician’s license and started my own business in my home town, Ellie moved into the city and got married. Now a widow, Ellie has returned to Port Paxton and discovered the house she’s moved into has electrical problems, so I’m the first one she calls. That’s when the sparks really fly. Looks like my promise is about to go up in smoke.

When my secret high-school crush Malcolm Walsh walks in to solve my electrical issues, a spark of attraction flares between us.
