Save Her From Herself

He’d do anything to save her, even if she’s the biggest threat to herself.

When I first met Kelly O’Connor, she was on a boat bound for some unknown hell overseas. While my team and I saved her, it wasn’t enough.

I promised I’d take care of her to atone for my mistakes, but I failed her. She’d already suffered more than anyone should, and her brokenness seeped into me. She broke me, and I had to walk away.

But my heart beat for her and her alone, and staying away killed me. When she disappeared again and I was asked to find her, I couldn’t say no.
