âDad? I donât see why not, but we have to ask your mom first, okay?â
âWe canât until they get back from their trip,â Sierra told her sister.
âWhy not?â asked Monk.
Sierra shook her head. âIf youâre going to propose you have to plan something special. And it canât be when sheâs making pizza.â
âSheâs right,â said Savannah, nodding her head with a very serious expression on her face. âThat wouldnât be good.â
EPILOGUE
âWhere should we go on our honeymoon?â Monk asked on their flight back from the Maldives.
âHoneymoon? That wasnât it?â Saylor looked down at the beautiful diamond ring heâd given her when he proposed on their last night on the island.
âSomewhere we can take the girls.â
Saylor rested her head on Monkâs shoulder. âI canât believe they kept so mum the night before we left.â
âThey didnât think I should propose while you were making pizza.â
âToo many princess movies I guess.â
Monk kissed her. âIâm glad you said yes.â
âDid you really think there was a chance I wouldnât? Is that why you waited until the last night?â
âI promised you a month on a deserted island, remember?â
âWe did get pretty good at communicating.â
Monk dipped his finger into the top of her sundress and traced the outline of where the lace of her bra met her skin. âNot necessarily by talking.â
âYou talk plenty. Now we need to practice more kissing.â

DECKED
As he drove home, something on the side of the road caught Deckâs eye. What the hell was that? Couldnât be a deer; not in these parts. It wasnât big enough to be a cow, unless it was a damn skinny one.
Decker stopped the truck, backed up, parked, and climbed out. He thought it might be a manikin someone tossed out, until it started to moan.
