I take my lower lip between my teeth as I watch the phone screen, feeling a sense of disappointment that he isn’t writing back. But maybe it’s not necessarily disappointment. Maybe I... feel bad? There’s obviously something more to Ty. Something deep. He’s still a dick, but maybe there’s a reason he’s a dick.
